Features

The MDS Dx Win is a PC software package for viewing medical images via LAN from a file server. It is optimized for DICOM 3.0 standard network.

	Based on multiwindow and multimodality concept.
	Compatible for still and dynamic images
	Standard user interface for all medical specialties, all departments, points of care, and education.
	Intuitive icons user interface, with multiple postprocessing tools.
	Based on standard Microsoft Windows NT operating system.
	Based on TCP/IP Ethernet DICOM 3.0 and Interfile communication protocols.

Functional Description

The MDS Dx Win is a standard viewer for a DICOM 3.0 file server. MDS Dx Win can be connected to any DICOM 3.0 model database (patient, study, series, image), via an Ethernet TCP/IP network (DICOM 3.0, and Interfile protocols). image).

The user is able to view the patient entire file containing images from different modalities (ie : MRI, CT, X-RAY, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, ...) for comparative diagnosis . Images can be displayed still and dynamically at the same time.

The user has the possibility to export images in PC standard format, for local storage, presentation, diaporama, and print.

The icon bar located along the left side of the main display area represents the functions that are available to the user :

In the active image window, the user has directly access to other utilities such as contrast and brightness adjustment, size adjustment , color scale, text annotation, copy, DICOM 3.0 information (" drag and drop ", " pop-up menu ").

Dx Win uses Microsoft operating system (Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0 and later), and Ethernet network.
