Product Description

The DxPinnacle Nuclear Medicine Workstation offers simultaneous Acquisition, Processing and Communication capabilities from a powerful Unix based platform that is Modular and Flexible. This advanced system allows for site evolution, adding remote processing and viewing capabilities to fit expanding needs. It is ideally suited for needs ranging from a standalone Gamma camera to an entire Nuclear Medicine Department.

DxPinnacle Architecture

The DX Family combines powerful architecure with a flexible, modular design.

All members of th Dx Family share the same architecure and software organization allowing full compatibility between Dx Workstations using RISC Technology.

The Unix operating system guarantees multi-user and multi-tasking capabilities. Full programmability is achieved through high level languages such as C and C++.

Application protocols are available through a main menu bar whil display setting may be adusted through the mouse.

+ Database Management
Data is organized in a hierachical method, grouping Patient data into Exams, Studies, Acquisitions and individual Objects, as per compliance with DICOM 3.0.

The Oracle Database Management System gives access to any level of information and allows reliable data handling. Selection, search, archival and retrieval becomes straightforward operations.

+ Complete Processing Capabilities
The Dx Family utilizes Dx Image, a general image processing macrolanguage designed specifically for medical image processing.

Dx image allows manipulation of images, ROI's and curves and has a number of function for filtering, arithmetic, convolution, morphology, attribute extraction, annotation and rendering operations.

Acquisition mode include :

Static : up to 1024 x 1024 resolution
Dynamic : 4 groups up to 256 x 256 resolution
Whole body : 257 x 1024 resolution
Gated : 256 x 256 up to 32 phases
SPECT : 256 x 256 up to 256 steps
Gated SPECT : 256 x 256 up to 256 steps ans 32 phases

Medasys Digital Systems' comprhensive family of Unix based workstations is designed to improve the control and management of medical imaging information. The DxPinnacle systems can operate alone as image review stations or can be integrated with a DxMultimodality Image Management System.

DxMultimodality can be fully integrated with legacy systems and hospital information systems, is HL7 compliant and can be used as the primary component of an Electronic Medical Record System.
